Afro-Cuban dance fusion workshop

For the very first time we will be offering an Afro- Cuban fusion dance workshop in the lovely Borders town of Peebles (1 hour drive from Edinburgh).
This is your invitation to join Yamil Cuedo Ferrera from Santiago de Cuba to immerse yourself in rhythm and Afro – Cuban music.
Two hours of AFRO-CUBAN FUSION from authentic Afro-Cuban Yoruba roots. Yamil will teach gentler rhythmic Afro- Cuban movements associated with one of the Cuban deities (orishas) for the first part of the workshop. After a short break the workshop will continue with a more energetic routine typical of Afro-Cuban culture such as gaga, vodu or congo. You will feel energised and well exercised after the session.
